The Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) has launched Private Banking services for its esteemed customers in order to provide them with the most convenient, exclusive and personal banking experience with the bank.
CBA’s Private Banking service will allow its valued customers to experience the latest in technology through mobile and internet banking. They will also have access to an international Visa Platinum debit card, a Visa Gold credit card available in TZs and USD. The latter comes with host of benefits including access to JKIA Executive lounge.
The personalised service will also give private banking customers a Priority Pass which will give them access to 600 VIP airport lounges in 1,000 countries and 300 cities worldwide.
Other features of this service include; access to insurance options at negotiated premiums, access to preferential foreign currency conversion rates and access to preferential lending and deposit terms.
Speaking at the launch event held at Lugalo Golf Course in Dar es Salaam over the weekend, CBA’s Chief Executive Officer, Gift Shoko said the service aims to give private banking customers exclusive banking and lifestyle benefits that ensure they always enjoy a seamless and pleasurable banking experience.
“We looked at the way banking used to be, a time when customers were known by their names and not just by their account numbers… we like to think of it as banking by hand made with care, time and craft,” he said.
The Private Banking lounges will be available at CBA’s Ohio Branch and Samora Branch in Dar es Salaam as well as Arusha branch.
CBA, one of the oldest banks operating in Tanzania since its establishment in 1962, is the first bank in Tanzania that started offering long-term Mortgage Financing of up to 20 years.
To date, CBA – Tanzania has 11 branches across the country, with five branches in Dar es Salaam and others in Mbeya, Tunduma, Mtwara, Moshi, Mwanza, and Arusha regions. The bank also has branches in other East African countries including Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda under the umbrella of CBA Group.
